Nancy Pelosi: Unmasked

Pelosi has told the American people that "you must wear a mask" in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Well, she clearly does not practice what she preaches. On Monday, August 31, 2020, Nancy Pelosi styled her hair in San Francisco's salon. However, she was not wearing a mask. Not to mention, she has stated last year that "no one is above the law, Mr. President" on Twitter. This is truly a hypocritical statement coming from Pelosi, given that she believes that she is above the law. Because she is unwilling to take responsibility for failing to wear a mask in public, she has claimed that she was "set up" by the hair salon. She actually believes that the salon owes her an apology for setting her up.

Pelosi stated, "I just had my hair washed. I don't wear a mask when I'm washing my hair. Do you wear a mask when you’re washing your hair?" While many can agree with her statement, this is the same person who believes everybody should wear masks everywhere. People don't typically wear masks at a gym, yet the mandate is being enforced. Thus, Pelosi should be able to wear a mask when washing her hair. After all, nobody is above the law, and you must wear a mask.
